Frequently Asked Questions

  • CoreWise is a psychometric self-assessment that helps you understand how your values, motivations, and current life satisfaction relate to one another. It is built on Shalom Schwartz's theory of basic human values and organized around five life domains — Wealth, Health, Occupation, Love, and Enjoyment — collectively called the WHOLE framework. After completing the assessment, you receive a personalized Personal Insights Report summarizing what matters most to you, how satisfied you feel across major life areas, and which motivational patterns may be shaping your behavior.

  • The CoreWise assessment measures three things: your foundational core values (based on Schwartz's theory of basic human values), your current satisfaction across the five WHOLE domains of Wealth, Health, Occupation, Love, and Enjoyment, and the motivational styles shaping your behavior in one or two domains you choose to explore in depth. CoreWise measures satisfaction broadly rather than diagnosing specific problems — the goal is a structured view of where you stand, not a prescription.

  • Yes. CoreWise is grounded in peer-reviewed psychometric research. The Core Values section is built on Schwartz's theory of basic human values (1992), one of the most extensively validated frameworks in cross-cultural personality research. Each WHOLE domain draws on a published, peer-reviewed instrument selected for theoretical fit and psychometric validation.

  • The CoreWise assessment takes approximately 25 minutes total, depending on how many optional Deep Dive sections you choose. The Core Values section takes 3 to 5 minutes, the Life Check-In takes 10 to 15 minutes, and each Deep Dive module takes 5 to 15 minutes. You may select one or two Deep Dives. We recommend finding a quiet, uninterrupted block of time so your answers reflect how you actually think and feel. You can reach us anytime via our contact page or email. We aim to respond quickly—usually within one business day.

  • WHOLE is the CoreWise framework for the five life domains the assessment evaluates: Wealth (financial well-being), Health (physical and mental well-being), Occupation (how your work supports who you are), Love (closeness and connection in your relationships), and Enjoyment (how your free time recharges and fulfills you). Together these five domains offer a holistic snapshot of the areas that most shape how fulfilling life feels.

  • No. The CoreWise assessment has no correct answers, no trick questions, and nothing to score yourself against. It measures personal values, satisfaction, and motivation — all of which are unique to you. The more honestly you answer, the more accurate and useful your Personal Insights Report will be.

  • You receive a personalized Personal Insights Report, delivered as a branded PDF attached to an email shortly after you finish. The report includes your top core values, your satisfaction scores across the five WHOLE domains (Wealth, Health, Occupation, Love, and Enjoyment), and detailed interpretive sections for the Deep Dive domains you chose to complete. If you don't see your report within a few minutes, check your spam or promotions folder before contacting assessments@mycorewise.com.

  • Your CoreWise report is personalized in three ways. First, your responses are scored against each instrument's rubric and ranked to surface the descriptions that fit you best. Second, the report includes only the Deep Dive sections you chose to complete during the assessment. Third, the motivational styles within each section are ordered specifically for you, with your name appearing throughout the document.

  • CoreWise keeps your name and contact information strictly confidential and never sells, rents, or shares them with third parties. All data is stored securely using industry-standard measures. Assessment responses may be used in anonymized and aggregated form to improve products and train AI models, but personally identifying information is never used for this purpose. You can opt out of AI training, request access or correction, or delete your data at any time by emailing assessments@mycorewise.com.

  • CoreWise is a self-development tool, not a diagnostic instrument. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, or provide medical, psychological, or legal advice. CoreWise can be a helpful companion alongside therapy or coaching — many people share their Personal Insights Report with a professional to deepen the conversation — but it does not replace the support of a qualified therapist, doctor, or counselor.
